Free Document Shred Day

Join Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust on Tuesday, April 18th to protect your identity and safely discard your sensitive documents at our free annual community shred day! Services are provided by The Shredder and available to general public; businesses are not included. Businesses are encouraged to schedule a separate purge with The Shredder.

• 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM* | 500 First Ave NE (Downtown Main Bank)

• 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM* | 5400 Council St NE (Council Street Branch)

Acceptable items: Paper clips and staples.

Prohibited items: metals, plastics, cardboard, binders, or media items: hard drives, CD’s, floppy disks, cell phones, batteries, etc. Note: remove any material thicker than a paper clip or staple. 

*Timeframe may be restricted by truck's capacity.
